Notice for the people: You should have a HYSA.

Alright, hear me out: I used to think that a savings account was just a place where money sat around looking sad while inflation ate it alive. The “interest” I’d earn? A joke. But then I learned about HYSAs and, let me tell you, it was like stepping into a new era of fun banking. Basically, it’s a savings account, but the “high-yield” part means it actually earns interest worth talking about.

I know it sounds basic, but having money that quietly multiplies is strangely satisfying. With an HYSA, you’re getting a decent return without even thinking about it. It’s like free money just for letting your savings chill in a slightly better place. If you haven’t tried one, go check out the rates—your future self will probably thank you, even if it’s just for that extra cup of coffee money each month.

I put my money in different honey pots, but I currently have two different HYSAs. One at Ally (the buckets are amazing!) and the other at CIT Bank.
