Somatic Therapy
As someone who grew up in an insanely dysfunctional and chaotic environment, maintaining my sanity has been extremely important to me. Over the past few years, I have done a lot of work to get to where I am today. Besides therapy (I currently see an EMDR therapist), I have been doing somatic therapy and the results have been inspiring. Somatic therapy are gentle exercises that help release trauma stored in our body. As you may know, the mind and body are connected and the body keeps the score. I have completed the 5 course bundle from The Workout Witch (90 days) and feel lighter, calmer, and my night sweats and teeth grinding have declined immensely! Highly recommend this for anyone and everyone. You will be surprised how much is stored in your body.
